What Is A Fauwna?
"Just your typical, fun loving, trashcan!"
"Wait what?"
Fauwna's were created by a student for a school project, mostly as a joke, but his joke of an idea seemed to catch on somehow. They stand at around 55-60cm's tall and so they fit well into the average home and are easy to keep. Fauwna's will eat absolutely anything you give them, from gone off vegetables through to that old pair of sneakers you no longer wear, they are not usually fussy.
They are literally be your walking trashcans.

Baby Fauwna are called Yawns.

Adoption Rules

• Do not steal, borrow, display or use any Fauwna that do not belong to you.
• Do not sale or trade away your Fauwna. If you no-longer want your Fauwna, please give it back to us so we can re-home it.
• This is a closed species, meaning you do not have permission to draw up your own Fauwna's. You may be able to get a custom in the future however.
• You may own up to 10 Fauwna.
• Wherever you take and use your Fauwna, please link it back, be that on or off site.
• I tend to judge off of how much effort people put in. ...Not a rule, just helpful guide.
• I may add more rules if I feel I need to, but for now I believe that's all.

LOOKING. Looking for some-one who is willing to create and run the Archives for me as I find it a struggle to keep up with them. Please be some-one that knows what Archives are and how to create them/organize them. Also some-one that is active and will keep up with adoptables/breeding/customs etc.
I prefer archives to be organized by member, e.g; x X x with user ID numbers (the number found at the end of the link on members profile page) in-case usernames are changed.
You will be allowed to own up to 12 Fauwna.

Height
50-60cm's. About the height of a medium sized dog.

Description
Fauwna have a rounded mask looking face which feels like solid skin to the touch but has the constancy of gel. Their mouths are undetected while it's closed and only visible once opened. They have a gooey looking mouth and a slobbery long tongue.
Their body is stocky with a thick maned neck. Fauwna have two sets of ears upon their head, one slightly further back than the second.
Fauwna's can have many different types of tails. They can also carry mutations such as horns, wings and other strange additional adaptions.


Markings and Colors
Fauwna's can come in any colors and any pattern. They can even carry un-natural colors in their coats.
Diet
Anything and everything that you give to them, they will eat.

Fauwna In Detail

Behavior
Fauwna are social animals that usually get on well with people and other animals. They are only ever aggressive if they feel threatened or some-one they care about is in danger.

They are a quiet species that doesn't make many vocal sounds. They can grumble when they are being aggressive, the sound is much like the noise that Hollywood uses for monster vocals. They also pant like a dog when they are hot or over excited.

Fauwna use body language to communicate mostly. Licking and slobbering is an affectionate action, bouncing around means they are excited and staying low to the ground is when they feel scared or threatened.

Breeding
They must be at least two years old to breed. It takes two Fauwna to breed. Either a male and a female, male and genderless, female and genderless, or two genderles Fauwna. Only the females and genderless can become pregnant and the pregnancy lasts around a week. Litters are made up of 1 - 3 Fauwna which are known as Yawn while they are under a year old. They are known as Yawns because baby Fauwna are always tired and sleepy, they spend most of their day sleeping and eating than anything else.
Yawns do not require a parent to rear them as they can eat normal foods from the moment they are born. This makes it easier on the parents as they do not need to be around to keep the Yawn's fed.

Common Diseases, Abnormalities or Behavior Faults
Dribble Faces
Dribble faces are Fauwna with a faulty genetic problem where the face doesn't hold it's solid form how it should. The face will often drip as if the creature is constantly slobbering or sweating.

Foodies
[size=85]Foodies are Fauwna that can only eat food. This is not necessarily a bad thing however if you get a Fauwna and want it to eat your trash but instead it eats all of the food in your cupboard, you might not be too happy.

Gluttony Grazing
This is a behavior problem that can appear in some Fauwna. It's where the Fauwna will attempt to eat items that are far to large for it to eat. This issue can become bothersome but it can also be a risk to the Fauwna if it eats some-thing and nearly chokes on it.

Fauwna Creation

When a school boy was asked to create a science experiment for his class, no-one expected for the boy to turn up with a living breathing creature.
His farther had been a genetic scientist for many years and after hearing of his childs project, thought it would be a great way to test out his theory of how to create life. The scientists plan was successful and the first Fauwna was created.
The boy took his project into school the next week and while his teacher was freaking out over the strange creature, his class thought the animal was rather delightful.
The parents of the students in the class began asking on behalf of their children for a pet Fauwna and soon their popularity was beginning to grow. Fauwna's were beginning to be requested from across the globe.
