"Can't rain all the time..."

"People once believed that when someone dies, a crow carries their soul to the land of the dead. But sometimes, something so bad happens that a terrible sadness is carried with it and the soul can't rest. Then sometimes, just sometimes, the crow can bring that soul back to put the wrong things right."


I... just really wanted to use this contest as an opportunity to pay homage to a film and an actor that had an impact on me; Brandon Lee as Eric Draven from "The Crow." Lee unfortunately passed away after an accident while filming the movie and is dearly missed.

I chose The Crow as inspiration for a Halloween contest because the main character was to be married on Halloween and it seemed fitting. As much as I love spooky fun halloween, I kind of wanted to get a little bit serious this time.
