Welcome to Aves Village, home of the Aveople!
![Image](http://i.imgur.com/Uo5jh9L.png)
- Aveople pronounced like "ayv-eeple" are funny feathered folk who appear simply to be humanoid birds with arms in place of wings. They are as intelligent as corvids, live 70 years on average, and have adapted to their flightless life quite well, living in large social flocks. They come only in varieties of existing birds, but with over 10,000 varieties of bird species and breeds...there is a great deal of diversity in each flock.
- Do not steal the species.
I know they're not super original/clever in design, but it is the species lore that really counts. Do not steal it, please. - Do not steal other people's Aveople
That is called kid napping and is very wrong. - There is no adoption limit
Aveople are super social and really like big flocks, so you may own as many as you'd like! - Do not spam/annoy
No one likes spam or whining, so please do not do it. - Ask if you're confused!
If you have any questions just ask and they will be answered promptly!

If you would like to participate in the village, there are some laws of conduct you must follow.

That is it for now, though the rules are subject to change. Let me tell you a little bit more about Aveople...
As mentioned, they are highly social. When you adopt young Aveople, they come to see you as their flock leader and a part of their family. They will follow you around and often try to hold your hand or sit on you, and often enjoy squawking and chirping whenever you are talking too. It's all a part of flock bonding! Their behavior is all similar despite different appearances, and they all act rather like a mixture of pigeons and parrots, meaning they are vocal, curious, sometimes destructive, and very emotional. Like most birds, they really hate being alone, so if you just have one Averson (singular form of Aveople) it will want to spend all of its time with you, all of the time. I really recommend you adopt another one ASAP or else having a 3 foot tall 60 pound bird-person follow you into the bathroom and stealing your food all of the time gets really old really fast.

Unlike birds, Aveople cannot be kept in aviaries. It doesn't work, they don't like it. They have a strong nesting instinct, but instead of nests they build shelters. If you don't let them live inside with you then they will gather supplies in order to build their own little houses. They don't have a good sense of ownership or property, so if you have neighbors be warned as they will probably take apart things and steal shiny objects. Their diets are a lot like a chickens, and they'll eat just about anything that looks edible, so be careful about what you leave around. No one wants to pay the bill to have a vet surgically remove a toy car from the giant bird person's intestines.
Every Averson is an individual and has different needs and personalities. They are loving, interesting creatures and a joy to be around.
