Stripe stood in the forest. To everyone else she was wearing a costume but she was not. She shook her halter scared and alone. She whimpered in sadness at her aloneness her friend Calico and her friend Patternsong had both told her to not go out into the forest. But all Stripe wanted was a midnight stroll how could she know that tonight was the night all of her worst nightmares were crawling through the forest. She spotted a owl who hooted at her. "Will you be my friend?" She asked it flew away finally she spotted a familiar glimmery pelt. "Patternsong!" She cried in relief it was not her just a bush with sparkles. Stripe sat down near the bush and said "will you be my friend?" Before she fell asleep.
