- What is it?
- This little creature is called a Tanugi. They are a species classified as a mustelid, related to weasels, ferrets, wolverines, and the like. They are fully domesticated, friendly, and high in genetic diversity.

- You can adopt a Tanugi by submitting a form on it's page and fulfilling the requirements stated by the artist. The artist will select the winner. If you don't win the Tanugi then do not be disheartened, there are many more and you will find the right one for you!
Before you do anything, though, you'll need to read the rules!
- 1. No Art Theft
- Do not steal species, species-related art, or use the art/writing/form coding of others when trying out for a Tanugi. Art theft will result in a ban from the species.
- 2. Respect Everyone
- You are expected to behavior maturely and respect everyone, including other contestants for Tanugies. Staff are the authorities and must be respected as such.
- 3. No reselling/sending to adoption agencies
- If you no longer wish to keep a Tanugi then please alert the original artist so that it can be placed back up for adoption. You cannot trade your Tanugi for other species or sell it for any form of currency.
- 4. No inappropriate use of Tanugi
- You may not use Tanugi as your fursona or alter their species. You may not alter their design without express permission from the artist.
- 5. On Gifting
- You may gift a Tanugi to someone else, but you must first have received permission from the original artist. You may not gift a Tanugi to a user who does not have a CS account.
- 6. Do not beg
- Do not beg or ask for staff positions, Tanugies, etc. If there has not been a new Tanugi for a while then please just be patient and wait for one.
- 7. Adoption Limit
- There is currently no limit on the number of Tanugies you may own, just don't be greedy about it.
- 8. Ask if you have questions
