so I've been making some of these for myself, and was going to start putting some UFA on deviantart, but I was curious to see if chicken smoothie was interested in them! If they generate enough interest I will make a closed species out of them and put them up for adoption regularly (and will offer customs :v)!
A cloven hooved, winged mammal, Sheer are (you guessed it) a hybrid between Sheep and Deer. This species' purpose is to walk within people's dreams, in order to watch over the events that occur in them. (This includes daydreams!) They do this so that they can vanquish any evil energies/spirits which try to invade dreams, in order to make sure that their Protected* is free of nightmares or anxiety-inducing dreams. This makes them an overall* compassionate species, meant to guide and protect human beings. They are adept at removing anxieties, depressive thoughts, or doubts within a human, making them the perfect comfort companion.
*Protected: the person whom a Sheer regularly watches over and guards
*Overall: I say this because certain Sheer deviate from the intended 'dream guiding' path. (this is rare)
Characteristics:
-a mix between sheep and deer anatomy-
-mostly lighter, pastel colors-
-half woolen half short furred pelt-
-stardust freckles-
-many adorn themselves with bells and ribbons-
-unique deer/sheep tail extends into lion-like tail with a pod of stardust at the end-
-eyelashes-
-star shaped pupil-
-wings hardly large enough for flying-
-default ears are fluffy deer, however there are many variations-
-antlers (many variations)-
-size can vary from babydoll sheep to moose-
-ahoges are very common-
