Deep in the state of Washington lies a mountain range, the

Cascade Range. For centuries, five wolf packs have guarded the

ancient volcanoes, while dormant and active. There are five packs:

█

the Baker, Glacier Peak, Rainier, Adams, and Saint Helens packs.

█

Each pack gets its name from their respective volcano, but

█

recently, a problem has risen. Wolves are being born with magical

█

powers, and one of those powers is a long life - a very long life.

█

Each century, 50 magical wolves are born. With their long life, they

█

discover their powers. They were accepted and respected in their

█

packs, but not ever wolf is born pure. Evil wolves began using

█

their powers to their advantage, and eventually, all of the wolf

█

packs kicked out the wizards - all of them. Most magicians

█

had good intentions and only wanted to help. After a while,

█

when no more trouble had been caused, some packs began to

█

accept the wizards once again, but most still fear the evil

█

wizards. Currently, the good wizards are trying to force the

█

evil wizards away. How, you ask? Nobody knows, but one

█

thing's for sure: It will take powerful wizards to vanish the bad.

█

Will you help relieve Cascadia of evil, or will you only bring more?

Rules
Everyone has to follow them, even I have to.

•All Tess's rules apply.
•No Gary/Mary Sues.
•Drama is encouraged, but first ask me if you want to start battles or other big things.
•Only kill someone's character if they give you permission.
•When talking as yourself and not your character, use ooc.
• Please do not argue in ooc. I'll have to give you a warning if you do.
•You can make as much characters as you can handle.
•Try to keep genders even.
•Only two high ranks per person. Let others have a chance, too.
•Try to post once a week. If you are inactive, I'll give you a strike and send you a PM. If you don't reply, I'll give you a second strike.
•Send me a PM if you will be gone for a while. I don't want to remove your characters for no reason.
•If you have a high rank and receive two strikes, I'll have to give it to someone else.
•Three strikes= temporary ban. Get banned again and it's permanent.
•Put a "time skip" when necessary.

In this world are three types of magicians, or more commonly known as wizards. All wizards have the same abilities, but some wizards are a master at one particular thing. Some can summon a storm easier than others, or transform into more creatures than the other. But there is only one difference between some magicians: Whether or not they're a Listener, Speaker, or Talker.

Listeners

Listeners have the ability to understand any creature, including both language and feelings, but cannot talk to them. Listeners are great hiders, they can hide in the shadows and can change their fur color to blend in with their surroundings. If a pack accepts them, they are usually kept as spies.

Speakers

Speakers can talk to any creature and share their emotions with them, but can't understand their response. Speakers are very talkative and can coax information out of anyone, usually not on purpose, though. Speakers can be dangerous if evil, because they use this to their advantage. Oh, there's a hunter? "Hey, there's a wolf right over there!" Bang! He just told an enemy your whereabouts. I'd stay on their good side, if I were you.

Talkers

Talkers are the most rare kind of wizard. They have both the abilities of Listeners and Speakers, but at the cost of a shorter life. They are mostly born when great danger emerges. Talkers are stronger than usual wizards, and they need special training. Legends say an ancient wolf by the name of Morpheus appears to the Talkers, but only they know if Morpheus is real.
