Floating Endlessly

Floating along the cosmos, admiring the beauty.
The galaxies glisten with colours that you never would have imagined exists.
The feeling of absolute weightlessness not only lifts your body, but your soul.

Finally, after a couple hours of taking in the scenic view.
You turn your head to the right, seeing the planet you call home.
You raise a paw up to it, and realized that it completely blocked out the view of your planet.
In that moment...
You didn't feel gigantic.

You felt small.

The strange realization hit, your existence is nothing more than a grain of sand in the timer of the universe.
And yet, that didn't scare you. Wouldn't matter anyways, you can't scream in space.
A small grin makes it's way to your face. You think, "You know what, this is okay."
A tear escapes from your eye and begins to slowly float away, still keeping it's spherical shape.
