Fun Facts;;

Cullen has his mother Allena's glowing horn, it doesn't glow itself but it lets off these little glowing specs like his mother's does.
He is the commander/advisor of an army
He was captured once and tortured and tends to still have nightmares from that
He used to take this "drug" known as lyrium when he was just a soldier on the wrong side
He still has a slight addiction but cut ties with it to break his leash from joining the bad guys for a small time being
As a Templar/Soldier, his source of pride was faith and serving people, though part of his purpose was in his family tradition of serving the Forest. To that end, he initially held a hatred for humans and a strong wish to protect innocent bystanders from their destruction.

He isn't known for romance but once he finds the one he will give them his utmost utter love and dedication

Summarized backstory;
Cullen from the start wished to help others. It was his purpose in joining the humans to defend the forest, that and faith that guided him in service to nature and his kind. Until he found out he was only destroying the forests more with his "help." To that end, Cullen struggled to cope with his world view. In general, he is kind and well mannered, almost over protective of the innocents to the point of painting the world black and white. He went numb for a while though, the humans had taught him to dislike humankind and weak Kalons alike. This was thwarted by (enters future kalon) though, where he begins to see the gray where the light is. He no longer held his order to keep battling in the light, and the actual reason for it in the dark. It shaped him to be a better man, a man caring for all Kalons (weak included) and only wants to protect them from any wrong doing.
