Shinju Marble Dragons are small by reptilian standards,
though quite large as far as us humans are concerned.
They are - usually - wingless and furry drakes, about
the size of a Clydesdale. They're built for running
over land, with bearlike paws and doglike teeth. They
are the very top of the food chain wherever they are,
and quickly become comfy where they situate themselves.
Shinjus come in a variety of colors, and a variety of
mutations as well. There are two species of SMDs
that we know of, the Common Shinju and the
Butterfly Shinju, which appear every so often in the
thunders Common Shinjus create. These Butterfly
Shinjus are more brightly colored than your average Shinju,
mainly coming in pastel shades.

rules ⋆
⋆ all shinjus are copyrighted art pieces - whether it be the
original design, a colored adopt or a revamp of the
original lines. this means that any shinjus that have been
copied or taken and announced as somebody's property
when that is not the case will be considered art theft.
you have the right as an adopter to call a shinju your
own character once you have adopted it, but the
original speciesart is to be copyrighted back to myself,
one of the artists orthe creator of the species
(Peaceful_Chaos).
⋆ please do not beg artists to make customs or specific
designs or breedings. they are here to give the species
a fresh coat of paint, so-to-speak, but are no means
required to make certain designs beyond what i request
for events and whatnot. shinjus are not a custom-based
species, and should not be treated as one,
⋆ on the topic of customs, artists may make one custom
SMD to every five successful adoptions. meaning, five
of the artist's shinju designs must be successfully adopted
before they are allowed to make a custom for themself.
⋆ any single person may only adopt a shinju every other
design. there is no limit on the shinjus you may have,
though you must wait for two designs to pop up before
you can adopt again.
⋆ all of tess' rules apply here, of course.
⋆ moderating is not allowed here, if you are not a
site or thread moderator, of course
⋆ please try to have a lovely day!
breeding ⋆
breeding is now available! as i am lazy and don't feel
like working on baby lines just yet, they will be full
grown when they are finished, but will be perfect mixtures
of their parents! just a few things to note:
⋆ breeding is not required, and you must ask before you offer
up somebody else's shinju to breed with yours.
⋆ breeding comes with a price! since shinjus are known to breed
throughout the year with any of their species, it is not that high,
but there is a price all the same.
- one to two shinju babies will cost two uncommon pets
- three to four shinju babies will cost six uncommon pets
- five shinju babies will cost a rare
