Within the wild waters of our world, much has still yet to be discovered. We are well aware of the many creatures of the deep, but some are not as dark and brooding as one could imagine. A New species was discovered some time ago, found in several places of the world, they are rising to become one of the newest beloved pet choices. The Koigi.
Short, squatty, and quite skilled in their aquatic habitat, the Koigi appear simply like a corgi with a fish tail end. Quite slow on land, they tend to raise their tails as they waddle happily about. When in the water, their large ears flatten against their bodies and they can accelerate the speeds motored by their strong and gorgeous tail. Their ears act like steers and brakes, able to open in the water and stop or slow their speeds. They cannot breath underwater, but they are capable of slowing their heart rate so they can hunt for fish to eat.
They are lovable creatures and enjoy being snuggled. They are highly intelligent, some more than others, and their movement capabilities all depend on their tails. They can range from koi fish, to dolphin, to shark, to even sea horse tails. They eat meat and fish, thus can survive off of dog food or fish alone. They are most happy when in water, so pools, ponds, lakes, rivers, and seasides are by far the best places for them to be, unless you wish to sacrifice your bath tub for their happiness.
They can be spayed or neutered, even bred. Once bred, they produce a multitude of ways to birth offspring. Some lay eggs, some simply birth pups. Pups tails can often be a bit big for their cute little bodies, thus must get use to the balancing and weight over time.
All Koigi are known to collect Pearls. Some more stingy than others, they love to trade pearls like currency. To purchase pearls or trade in pearls for items to be added to your Koigi please go see Koi Kove, there is a cute little Koigi running the store whom can help you out! Koigi is a closed species, the only way to obtain one is through adopting it through this thread. Ways to purchase them varies, but if you did not purchase one you cannot make one for yourself. Be patient, as everything has its own time.

Please care for the designs bought, love and care went into their creation.
Do not resell them. You can trade Koigi but only for other Koigi, as that ensures the species stays chicken smoothie exclusive! Please inform owner if so, we will have owner names swapped! C:

Do not alter your Koigis' design, you can add items.
