Species Story:
Kadin's wish bloomed into a scientists mission.
A team was formed to bring the wish of Kadin's to light.
After splicing DNA of animals the child held dear and the
blessing of spiritual beings, they were able to form these
basic dog cat mixes. They are part cat, part dog, and part magic.
The plate like objects on their backs stem from powerful
mythical beasts, and all Kydons have them as well as the gems.
The gems store the mystical power used to create them in the first
place. Since the magic is somewhat unstable, other mythical
creatures are able to influence the Kydons and can on occasion
cause them to display other mythical creature traits.
They are loyal, kind, and very easy to befriend. Even though
the child who these were made for did not live long enough to
see them, at least their wish for happiness lives on in the Kydons.

Rules

This is a closed species you are not allowed to: recreate the species, make your own, sell the species, trade the species, or claim this as your own species.
If you own a Kydon, you can only trade them on the Exchange forum. And you must let us know when you plan to trade them so we can keep track in the archives.
You are not allowed to splice/breed your own Kydons. You are not allowed to use the designs on other animals.
You are not allowed to change the design. This includes: add things such as wings, extra horns, fur tuffs, or changing the colors, design of the fur, and ect.
Listen to the mods. If you are unsure about anything, ask on the page.
If you take your character off site you must link back here and credit me.
IF YOU BREAK THE RULES YOU WILL BE PUT ON PROBATION. IF YOU BREAK THEM TWICE YOU WILL BE BANNED AND YOUR KYDONS TAKEN.

Modest and quite shy, Tim can be the softest Kydon out there.

Describe their personality: Cheyenne is a shy, quiet Kydon. Or at least it seems. Get to know her better and you'll find a biosterous, bubbly character underneath. Dig a little deeper and you might just unearth a slightly rebellious, adventurous Kydon known to her family as the trouble maker. Cheyenne is not easily intimidated, nor easily angered. A mainly go-with-the-flow type, she is very tolerant of others and definitely friendly. Making close friends that will last is a rare occurrence, however. Not particularly favoring the outdoors, Cheyenne can be a bit lazy at times. What she does indoors isn't that special either. You'll find she has minimal creativity or effort in her work, despite her wide range of music genres. Cheyenne is definitely a lover though, a definite sweetheart who struggles to let go.

Describe their personality:
She is very quiet and shy around other kydon's, especially people. It'll take her awhile for her to approach you and even longer to actually interact. She's very mellow and laid back. Lillian often likes to be called Lilly because it makes her feel more welcomed and wanted. She has very low confidence in herself but has a lot of confidence in other people or kydons. She's also supportive towards others and has a horrible time following her own advice. She has a sweetheart and just has trouble expressing herself sometimes. As a result, many misunderstand her and it makes her very socially awkward. Lillian also doesn't like big crowds and tries to avoid them, including small or tight areas. Hugs are okay though, she loves hugs and she loves to cuddle.
