posting this so I can find it easily

-carnivorous
-retractable claws
-keep to self in wild
-domesticated tend to be protective of their owners
-bond with one human, tend to dislike others
-indeginous to wooded mountain areas
-stand about as tall as a great Dane
-strong legs allow them to jump great distances
-tails help them to balance in trees and on rock shelves
-prey on smaller mammals and some amphibians/reptiles
-mate for life
-have no discernable gender as fat as humans can tell/some identify as one or the other
