Today I saw a starving, injured, muzzled, and neglected dog on the street. I got the dogs cage and put it in my passengers seat and took him to the vet. They said that his muzzle had been too small and he couldn't eat, drink, or defend himself and he had been abandoned, he went to heaven the day I took him... all because the muzzle

Aw, I honestly hate animal abusers, they don't deserve anything in the world. I can understand if an owner gets a comfortable, larger muzzle so the dog doesn't bite, say when their friiends come over. But as long an their friends leave, they take the muzzle right off, and show the dog love, and make sure they can get to the food and the water.

Wow what a sad story, but yeah they're right ^^. Muzzles themselves aren't bad, but anything can be used for horrible reasons when given to some sicko who would just abandon their dog. I mean jfc at least make sure it fits the poor thing.

Yes! We should stop muzzles.. I had a small story like this.. But I was like 7.. *long time ago*
Just walking down the neighborhood street with my twin bro and mom, and there was a muzzled poodle, after bringing her to the vet we named her "Curls" a week later we have her away to a loving family

I absolutely hate the idea of muzzles. They're cruel and terrible, even if they have a "purpose". If your dog bites and you can't train it not to, either take it somewhere that it CAN be trained, or if you can't do that, don't have the dog in the first place. You obviously don't love your dog THAT much if you're going to put a muzzle on it. Seriously, how would you like it if someone strapped a big, heavy, uncomfortable metal thing over your mouth so you couldn't move it at all? Even if it's just on for a bit of time, it's still cruel.

This is the only warning before I lock this: keep the conversation on the art itself; not on unrelated issues. If you can't stay on topic of talking about the art piece, then I'll lock this.
And no more messages wishing death on animal abusers. No one on an adoptable pet website is for animal abuse. We do not tolerate death threats or wishes of any kind on CS, no matter who they're toward.
