~what is a Stryker?~
A New England Stryker is a breed of equine that originated in the uk. They are a sub species of the shire, Arabian, the thoroughbred and the quarter horse. They can vary from pony sized to the size of an average thoroughbred or shire reaching up to 17hh. Their coat colours and patterns vary from the simple black to rare chimerics. Strykers have dense coats, with several layers of fur from the shore. Eye colours can be anything too, from simple brown to heterochromatic eyes. These unique horses are extremely friendly and loyal, and will stay with their owners for long lengths of time.
Feel free to post any questions horse and Stryker related c:

~what is a chimeric?~
In real life chimeric are horses that have two sets of DNA for color. This is caused by fraternal twins fusing in the womb and resulting in one horse that has multiple coat colors. Here at New England chimerics are a little different. We have themed chimerics, some that are more akin to those that occur in real life (with just 2-3 coat colors) and then we have what we call gene bombs, where the horse will have multiple coat colors and/or markings such as brindling, bird catcher spots, etc.
Because there were requests to make chimerics a little more rare, the monthly limit has been currently set at 4. This does not include chimerics that occur due to breedings.
~chimeric breeding~
When the breeding thread is set up and activated there will be a list at the top that tells you what artists allow a possibility of a chimeric foal when breeding 2 chimeric horses, and which artists will only give you 'natural' colored foals.

~general info~
Some adopts that do smaller animals may allow you to use them as the mascot for your barn, such as cats, dogs or other medium-small animals. But you must make sure to specify the artist that made it along with the artist that did the lines. C:
~competition info~
If you own another animal besides a Stryker, you can enter them in competition in the challenge thread. You can enter them under their species, feline, canine or other.
