What is a horned bat?
Horned bats originate from the cold north. Originally, they had little fur apart from their fur tufts, but over time they grew long fur from living in the snow for so long. Despite being flying animals, they don't live in the trees like most bats. That being said, they LITERALLY live in the snow, often burrowing under it and using that as a den. They use tightly packed snow to hold up the walls and ceiling to keep it from caving in. They often change dens as soon as when a new coat of snow falls. Their horns are used for attracting mates, both males and females have them. The bigger the horn, the better.

Traits:
Common: Normal horns, normal tufts, no edits.
Uncommon: Longer tails, longer tufts, a few very small edits.
Rare: Large noticeable edits, such as hair.
Very rare: Horn edits, certain large edits.

Rules

* Horned bats mate for life. You may breed once with a bat and then never again.
* At the moment, you may own 6 bats, 7 if you are an artist or other member of staff.
* Customs are limited to staff only. Please do not ask for customs.
* At the moment, staff may get 2 customs, artists have to make at least 5 bats in order to get one and other staff may get one after a month of being active in the adopts.
* You may not sell your bats for currency, real OR fake. You may trade your bats for other bats. You may gift your bats. You MUST let me or a adopt moderator know when your bats have been traded or gifted so that we can archive it.
* HBs can be any gender or sexuality. Its up to you how you develop your character.
* Most importantly, have fun!
