Species Info
Kattos are a large, furry dragon-like species that can live in any climate. They are generally omnivores meaning they can eat both meat and plants, though they could also be carnivorous or only plant eating; vegetarian.
--------
Size ranges from cheetah to lion.
--------
Being a highly intelligent species they can learn how to speak any language, though their main language consists of bird-like chirping, squawks and caws. Their skulls have two fang like protrusions that are made of bone and can be seen on the outside of the mouth, they are covered by fur along with the rest of the body. These 'teeth' along with their actual small, sharp teeth can create a huge bite thanks to their strong jaws.
--------
Kattos are generally seen having two horns, the most common being standard, fancy and moon, though many more have been spotted. On occasion horns may fuse to create a single horn that looks somewhat like a bridge. It is rare to see a katto with more than two horns, and it is even more uncommon to see one without any at all.
--------
Kattos ears are always large and bat-like, they give the dragon exceptionally good hearing. Having fur in the ears may happen, though it could alter hearing drastically, even to the point of them being deaf. Ears that are smaller in size often have fur in the ears, leaving them with bad hearing.
--------
Being land dwelling creatures, they are rarely often ever seen with wings. Those with wings never have large wings and can only fly a short distant since their wings are so small. There have been reports of the dragons having up to six wings which actually help them to fly long distances, this, however, is a very rare occurrence.
--------
Kattos tails can come in a variety of different shapes and sizes, though they are generally always as thick as the body near the beginning of the tail itself. The three most commonly seen tail types are long, short, or huge fluff.
--------
They are assigned genders at birth, whether it be male or female, but can identify as any gender. They can have any sexuality as *yay for magical species* they are able to breed with any gender, even those of the same biological gender.
--------
Their back paws are extremely small and thick, while the front are more small-midsized and contain opposable thumbs. Legs and arms are short due to their thick bodies, movement is not damaged due to this and some Kattos are even know to be fairly fast in speed.
--------
Kattos are magic wielding in a sense, they cannot control entire oceans, but can manipulate water for example. It is unheard of a Katto to have the ability to wield the power of time, though, who knows, it could be possible. Most have powers, but some are weaker than others. It is possible for them to be powerless or even had their powers, somehow, stripped away from them.
