These two are brothers from hell - Kai is the supernatural, wisp-like being that haunts people, and his brother - Tomak/Toma - is the hellhound who takes the souls that Kai acquires and eats them/deposits them in hell.
They are both very cunning, but where Kai is a bit more sensitive, Tomak is fierce and horrible.
