Settling down with the wilted rose he had given her she snuggled deeper into her comfy pajamas. As she bumped the balloon around with her paw she wondered what he could've meant when he left that note and this rose on her windowsill. It had been a bright red rose, but now it was wilted and dying. She stopped batting at the red balloon and tossed the rose to the side table. It missed and bounced off the couch onto the floor. "Oh well," she thought, "it probably meant nothing anyway..." She bats the balloon out of the way and reaches for the black remote. The TV screen flashes to life with the bright red Netflix title screen and as she pulls the blanket closer and begins munching on yet another cupcake.
