Q & A session for Andy
Q1: Hello Andy, We would like to do a quick interview of you for a contest. Is that okay?
A: Sure! I don’t have much else on my plate, other than modeling for art.
Q2: And that brings us to out first question. How do you feel about being created solely for this contest?
A: I don’t really mind. As long as I have someone to love me I’m happy.
Q3: How do you feel about the other RC’s that Josephine owns?
A: Well, there are only four others, so it’s not crowded,. *though I heard through the grapevine that she is trying to get us some more friends!!* Fiona and I get along smashingly, She is the sweetest Caliby, Phina’s first non-custom RC. Then there’s Chinco, he and I are pretty good friends, but don’t have much occasion to talk. He’s a cinnamon shorthair, Phina’s second RC. Her first is Arialle. We don’t talk much as she is busy with her kitten most of the time. I love her wings though!! So unique! Then there’s Falcon, Chinco and Arialle’s kitten. He’s a feisty little tabby, always zipping around on his wings and running into things. I play with him sometimes to give his parents a break.
Q4: Now for some personal questions. Do you have a mate?
A: Oh, no. There aren’t enough males here. The only male other than Chinco is Falcon, and he’s not even an option until he grows up a bit.
Q5: What about family? Do you have and parents, siblings?
A: No, like you said earlier, I was created for this competition, so I have no family. I suppose Fiona, Arialle and I could be sisters though.
Q6: Have you ever considered looking for a mate?
A: No, not particularly.
Q7: What would the tom of your dreams look like?
A: Oh, well, I think he’d have blue eyes, or maybe green..and he be..a tall fawn tabby, he’d be very caring and patient and willing to listen.
Q8: And kits? What would they look like?
A: Well, I think that there would be one calico, like me, but she would have her father’s dilution, so she’d be cinnamon and blue, not red and black. And there would be a cinnamon tabby, and a cinnamon and blue caliby, and a blue tabby, and maybe a tortoiseshell….
Q9: For your last answer I gather that you want a lot of kits?
A: Oh yes!! I love kits! I would have as many as my mate would let me!
Q10: On another note, what type of music do you listen to?
A: I really like Britt Nicole and Francesca Battistelli. Don’t worry about spelling her name right, I never can.
Q11: So you’re Christian then?
A: Oh yes, we all are.
Q12: By you’re own choice, or because Josephine decided?
A: I decided on my own, as did the other adult cats. Falcon hasn’t decided yet, as he’s still a kit.
Q13: If you could go anywhere in the world, where would you go?
A: Oh, I don’t know. I might go to Hawaii, or maybe the Caribbean.
Q14: Wouldn’t you be worried about getting wet?
A: Not particularly. I don’t mind water as much as some other cats.
Q15: Do you swim?
A: Oh gracious no! I may not mind water, but I am in no way inclined to swim in the stuff!!
Q16: What are your strengths?
A: I’d say me strength are my cheerful attitude and my focus.
Q17: What are your weaknesses?
A: The fact that I can be over emotional. I tend to not see the big picture.
Q18: What is your greatest failure?
A: Oh my, let me think. Probably the time when I was a kit and a stalked a dust bunny thinking it a mouse for hours on end.
Q19: What is your greatest success?
A: My greatest….hmm….probably the time I jumped from a tree branch and caught a bird from the air. Or the time I prevented Falcon from getting hit by a car.
Q20: Who is your favorite Author?
A: Well, I don’t read much but what I’ve read by J.R.R. Tolkien is really good.
Q21: What is your favorite Sport?
A: I don’t play sports, I’m a cat!! But I most enjoy watching equestrian things.
Q22: What is your favorite Game?
A: My favorite game if hide and sneak with falcon. The goal is to sneak up on the other cat and tap their tail without them seeing you.
Q23: How old are you?
A: You should never ask a lady her age, but I’m 4.
Q24: Do you have a Pet?
A: No, I’m afraid I don’t.
Q25: Do you want a pet?
A: Maybe, I can’t think of a specific one at the moment.
Q26: What type pet?
A: Hmm. Maybe a turtle? Or a lizard.
Q27: What would you name the pet?
A: Hmmm…..If it was a turtle, I might name it Moss.
Q28: What is your favorite Flower?
A: My favorite flower, I think marigolds are my favorite.
Q29: What is your favorite Color?
A: My favorite color? Of that’s an easy one! A light lavender.
Q30: Thank you for doing this Andy. Is there anything you would like to say?
A: Just thank you to Sharp Glimpse for making me!!
Andy ducked behind a tree, holding her breath. ‘Please don’t see me, please don’t see me.’ She poked her head out and saw a dark shape moving through the trees, it’s gleaming eyes fixed on her.
‘Okay, you see me. Let’s see if you can catch me.’ Andy thought, sailing the tree trunk she navigated the canopy skillfully, leaping nimbly from branch to branch, but whenever she looked back the shape was still there.
‘Come on Andy, faster!!’ She leapt onto a branch to fast and slipped, her claws scraping through the loose dead bark.
‘No!!’ She fell down, down, down through the canopy of trees. She landed on her feet, shaking herself off.
‘Thank goodness it wasn’t too far!’ She thought, bounding through the whispering grass in the dark of the evening forest. She seemed to have lost the shape, thank goodness. Her heart leaped when she saw light that meant her home.
‘Close!! I might just get out of here!!’ she leapt forward, seeing only too late the dark shape flying at her from the left.
‘No!!’ The shape slammed into her, knocking her off her feet.
“Got you!!” Falcon squealed, flying a loop-de-loop above her, “I win again!!”
Andy smiled, standing up and shaking the leaves off her pelt. “Good trick Falcon! It’s almost dinner, or I’d play another round. Let’s head inside and get some dinner and we can tell you parents how well you did.”
“I’m amazing at Cat and Mouse!!” Falcon said, flying ahead of her.
Andy smiled and followed him into the house.
