Seekers are a species of desert mammals roughly the size of a coyote. They live in the hottest areas, and move on their back paws to limit touching the hot sand to minimum. Their front paws evolved to be more hand-like, they use them to dig out food - insects, spiders, small mammals and reptiles. Their eyes also evolved away to protect from the sandstorms - they have no natural enemies in their habitat, and use their very sensitive whiskers to find food. They can sense spider moving in it's burrow a mile away with a single whisker. They store water in their fat tail, like gila monster; the more water a specimen gathered, the heavier the tail. They hit their tail on the ground to attract mates; the heaviest tails make the strongest sounds and are more attractive to opposite gender.
They arent the best household pets; their digging habits arent easy to train out, and their big claws can do a lot of damage to floor and furniture. They are best kept in heated outside enclosures with ground to dig on. They are not endangered species, so they're fine to keep in most places. people like them for looking like mini dinosaurs.
They're very much in a sketch state.
