A bit of art for a book im writing. this is Ivory; he is a fox shifter.

little over view:

A day as cold and dead as this one makes the sun's light feel even warmer then it really is. the smell of the air was hardly still as a swift wind rustled the leaves of the corn and the tall dead grasses that lined the fields of the outskirts. It wasn't a choice spot, but the sent could just barley be detected among the razor leaves of the corn. Ivory stood with shaken legs as he gazed into the field and rows of corn morphed into blackness the further back they went. he scanned the skies of the corn husks; looking for any sign of the black crows that might be circling death. Ivory swallowed hard at the thought; he didn't want to think that Nick was dead or even hurt, but he also knew that there was no way Nick was okay and the possibilities of what had happened to him after that night was frightening. he took a step closer, the damp dirt under his paws making him uneasy as he peered deeper within the rows of endless corn. Ivory knew that just beyond the corn field was the forest and where the old look out tower stood tall as Nick's old hang out. Ivory looked to the sky again, where were the crows? it made him feel a little better, that is until the wispy breeze caught the stalks and sent a rather uneasy smell to his nose.
