december loves winter. perhaps not for the reason you've got in mind. he likes to sit in the windowsill, where it's warm and cozy, and look out onto the frost covered ground, and watch the snow fall slowly down, making a blanket of white across the fields. he also loves to sit by the fire in his basket, and purr contentedly as the flames flicker and warm his fur. what is possibly the best part of all about winter, is the christmas carols that start just after thanksgiving, when the christmas season truly begins. december enjoys making decorated sugar cookies to hand out to all the christmas carolers that stop by, and listens with a happy heart to all of their songs. so overall, december loves winter, more than any season, because it is a joyous, and festive season, filled with happiness and laughter. and that's what everyone needs, a little laughter and a cookie.

Birch loves all seasons for many different reasons, but her favorite season is spring!

Spring seems like a beginning to the new year to Pearl. It seems like a great way to start off the year with little baby animals and rain and blooming flowers! The occasional rainy weather also adds a touch of character to the abiotic season of spring. But, the worst thing about spring for Pearl is that she is allergic to pollen, which makes her sneeze uncontrollably for a good amount of time. The season of spring also reminds her of science; the life cycle of almost every living creature begins with the end of a dry, plain winter which always brings Pearl's mood down. Lots of other dino kittens enjoy spring specifically because Pearl will most likely be in a great mood when the winter ends, even though she's nice year-round.

Qunae has always been a fan
of the Winter. Hot days were
never his favorite, and would
rather avoid going outside at
all. Despite the cold weather,
the snow is also very fun. He
would often go outside and dig
a giant hole of snow, just because
he liked the feeling of snow between
his toes. He also enjoys hiding behind
tall mounds of snow. This is used for
hunting, occasionally, but mainly for
playing around.

the snowcovered meadows glittering in the early morning sun, the slight chill biting the tip of your tail. there is nothing to not love about the sparkeling winter season.
Poe loves the winter not only for it's beauty, but for the contrast it gives. cold white snow on the frosen dark branches, Poe's dark paws leaving light prints in the snow. dark and light, heat and cold. two different things matching up together. in peace. nothing in the world can make him love anything else so perfect.

Why:She loves the beautiful colored leaves, the wind blowing through her plates make her feel free. Dark (short for Dark Angel) loves the bird's beautiful songs, and flocks flying south. She also usually would climb the tree and sit there to either watch the sunsets or birds hatching.

Crow loves fall, he loves the brisk and sharp change of weather in the air. Not only is it his favorite season but he loves the variety of colors in the season. From orange to red or auburn to brown fall never seems to disappoint him.

Why:
While winter may seem the most unlikely season to love; since it's cold, bleak and dry, Miri
loves all the subtle things about it.

Yes, yes, she likes the snowflakes and sledding down hills a a wide piece of bark and sliding over
the thick ice, but she also loves the way every sound is so sharp and clear when it's made,
she loves how the trees seem to bow to her with the weight of the snow, and she loves how
you can wipe away all the snow on a stream, and still see fish darting around...

You can simply make music, in the clear wintry air,and so she does.
She'll sometimes knock an icicle off of a house, and then another one, and with the two, she'll
bounce them off another, creating a chiming noise.
Once she does that a couple times, Miri will bring in rocks, and surround the icicles with
different patterns, and she'll move them each time, so the echo bounces off of them
to create a totally different sound.

When the trees seem to bow over with all the weight of the snow, Miri creates a game.
She'll pretend she's the queen, and she'll race down the road, bowing back to the trees,
sometimes saying, "Thank you!" and other times, "I know name you, Sir Barksen."
Overall, she just loves playing, and nature never ceases to amaze her.

Finally, the last subtle thing she loves in winter, is when you go to
a stream with a thin layer of ice, you can brush off all the snow and look down at
the slow moving water.
It really gives you a feeling of peace, and you also realize that there
are other lives besides yours, and while they may not be feeling or seeing the same thing,
they can feel too.
