The Rainbow Ghost

Said the hare to the bat, "Do you sense something near?"
Said the bat to the hare, "Sense what? Nothing's here."
"But I'm getting a feeling that we're being watched."
"It's nothing." replied the bat. "Your senses are botched."
The hare was unsure, but he took what the bat said.
And the two both went home, and they went to bed.
But the hare still felt something nearby,
and the bat did too, so he started to fly.
Away from the hare, leaving him alone,
while the bat felt as safe as if he were at home.
Now the hare was by himself, and felt something strange,
so he decided to search instead of fretting for a change.
He hopped to the forest, over rocks and past trees,
until his spine tingled and he was filled with unease.
He hopped around, shaking, not knowing what to do,
when all of a sudden, someone yelled, "Boo!"
Whipping around, he got a glimpse of a ghost,
a peculiar, strange one, with rainbow bones and purple toes.
The hare began to laugh, and the ghost did too,
but then the hare decided to ask, "Who are you?"
"I'm no one." the ghost replied, then it disappeared.
And the hare just went home, thinking, "Boy, that was weird."
