:Story:

We had been part of a savannah tour group looking at the wildlife, the tour guide having started some story about an elusive ghost equid. Snorting in disbelief I decided to venture off a little from the group to check some plant nearby. That was the first mistake, after a few moments of trying to figure out how the group had disappeared i heard a heavy snort behind turning around, nothing was there and taking a few steps back i heard the sound again...great i was about to become lion lunch..looking over my shoulder I sighed in relief nothing was there at all, turning my head back around i let out a yelp of shock and stumbled back, an african nile equid was directly in front of me..looking at the skull markings on its head i paled "g...ghost" i wailed and struggled to my feet bolting down the path. Seeing the group in the distance i ran towards them still blabbing about the ANE, only for the tour guide to laugh and say they had made up the whole story and no equid like that really exsisted. On the way back to the lodge, i could took one last glance towards horizon and saw the eerie ane stood there..watching me...always watching.
