Based on the movie "The Tooth Fairy" She was ugly and only came out at night and if your children peaked when she came to collect the tooth all would perish. If you peaked she would come after you in the dark. Only the light would save you. The paint marks represent 4 pups who just couldn't escape. She wears a mask to hide her face for as i said before in the movie, she hid her face because she was ugly.
