When I make the rainbows

everyday
no rest
no freedom
trapped
tapped alone
creating
creating art
art that will only be seen for an hour
or so
then forgotten
choking on the loneliness
slaving to give them a moment of beauty
choking on the paint
the light
the chemicals
the elements
the feeling of not being loved.
