Artemis

This is Artemis, she's the mascot for my endless black lab hoard as well as a look-a-like of my real dog Artemis.
Artemis is the Greek goddess of the moon and hunting, as well as a few other things. She is often depicted with either a dog or a deer at her side.
We were stuck between names when we adopted her as a puppy. She could've been called Luna, or Eclipse as well. We decided yelling "ECLIPSE" at the dog park would confuse people making them look into the sun, we wouldn't want that.. So we picked Artemis. Out of 6 puppies, there were only 2 black ones, a little girl (ours) and a little boy they named Nightcryer because he howled at night. The other puppies were a dark golden color, there was Cinnamon Squirt, Chunky Monkey, Bella, and the last one I don't remember it's name.
Also a little fun fact, she was the first black lab to be adopted when they were released. So that means there are no other black labs with a lower ID number.
