Syndicates are agile demonic canine shifters who have 6 eyes, elongated snouts, overly large ears and lean bodies with delicate legs and paws. They have resided mostly in the deserts of Egypt, long before the arrival of humans, but have been relocated in an effort to test scientific theories and have beeen found to be adaptable in all climates. Two eyes act as the main and the other four heighten their sight above a normal humans. Syndicates do not have blind spots in animal form due to this. Elongated ears heighten their hearing senses and due to their elongated snout, their nose is the weakest sense on them, causing them to rely heavily on sight and hearing alone. Short fur helps them regulate their core temperature, the longest fur they have is around the chest and neck area. Their tails are similar to equine tails. While canine form is their main form, most have been observed transforming into all animal known to man as well as part human part animal hybrids with extensive knowledge of human language in all regions. In animal form, whichever they decide on, they are always displayed with 6 eyes. However, in kemonomimi form, they only display two eyes.

General
- Do not claim the species as your own
- Respect all members and staff
- Do not remove any signatures or credits
- You may not use the image of the adopts in art, it is a reference sheet only and must remain as is
- If you leave CS, the adopt will not be taken back and re-homed
- Trading/Gifting/Selling Syndicates is not allowed, if you no longer want the adopt, contact me and I will re-home your adopt
- Syndicates are a closed species, you may not create your own
- Do not ask to be a moderator/artist, I will open forms when I'm looking
- If you are banned from the adoptables, your Syndicate will be re-homed

Artists
- May have a total of 3 customs for yourself (does not include won/purchased customs)
- Must be an artist for 5 months before making your first custom and have 10 premade designs with winners
- If you are unsure if a design is ok, feel free to PM me
- Only create themed/special designs when events are open

Guest Artists
- If you are unsure if a design is ok, feel free to PM me
- May not make themed/special event Syndicates even if an event is running
- May only make 5 premade designs

Moderators
- May have a total of 2 customs for yourself (does not include won/purchased customs)
- Must be a moderator for 5 months before asking an artist for your first custom
- Artists are the only ones allowed to make customs
- Be neutral in responses to keep drama low
- Answer questions and have a direct line to me with any questions you do not know
- Keep the thread safe from spam/drama/debatesSpecies
- Can shift into any earth animal, no fantasy species
- Can have a kemonomimi form, not fully human
- Special themed Syndicates can only be obtained by an event
- Are no taller than 72 cm at shoulders
- Can not weigh more than 40 kg

Colors
- May be natural or unnatural colors
- May have multiple colors but may not be rainbow
- May have minimal neon markings but may not be fully neon
- Do not have restrictions on marking types

Adoption
- There is no limit to the amount of Syndicates you may own
- You must be a member of CS for 3 months
- You must have a minimum of 100 forum posts to adopt
- You may try-out for as many Syndicates as you like, but you may only win one every 2 weeks
- Read the artists rules carefully on each adopt
- You may not revamp your design
- You may ask the artist to add items or add items yourself

Mates
- Syndicates are polyamorous with a 'relationship unit' of 3 maximum
- Do not have any prejudice on gender or gender identities
- May not ever be in hetero-only relationship units
- Mate for life with their chosen relationship unit

Breeding
- Can not breed with other species
- You may not breed your Syndicates on your own
- You must be a member of CS for 3 months
- You must have a minimum of 100 forum posts to breed
- May only breed after 3 months since adoption and has a relationship unit
- You may only breed every 3 weeks
- Must have a relationship unit of 3 active and consenting adult Syndicates to properly breed
- Both biologically male and female parents can birth puppies
- Each parent gives a portion of its life force to give life to a pup, but only one may 'carry' the pup
- Can only have 1 pup per breeding and a maximum of 2 pups per birthing parent for a total of 6 pups
- Each parent becomes sterile after they have carried 2 pups
- You must have permission quotes from the other owners
- Artists are only open if they have 'open' in their post'
- Artists are allowed to be bribed (art, pets, etc) to include 1 trait you wish to see on your pup

Syndcts (as they were known in hieroglyphics) have existed long before the existence of humans. They are closely linked with the God Anubis, the Goddess Ma'at and their cohort Ammit. Syndicates are minions of the realm of the dead. They were the protectors of the souls and would escort the souls to the Scales of Justice in Duat where they would receive judgement from Anubis and Ma'at. If the soul was deemed unworthy to continue their journey to Osiris, Ammit devoured the soul and the soul would become restless and would be led back up into the world of the living by the Syndcts.

Their true habitat is the sands of Egypt, however, they have been found to be very adaptable and can survive in all climates. They use their shifting abilities to be able to survive in all climates. A Syndicate located in colder climates may shift to that of a bear or a mountain goat or whatever else may be able to survive in the wintery climate. A stranded Syndicate on an island may wade out into the water and shift into a whale or a great white shark. Syndicates have shown extreme adaptability, including being able to shift into a part human/part animal hybrid form.
