Riverton Run is a farm nestled in between two mountains on a few hundred acres of plains. Mustangs were added and bred when Mustangs living in the mountains were rounded up to be auctioned off. Riverton Run bought a herd and now breed and adopt out the horses. They began about two hundred years ago, when herds moved into the land and gradually settled there.

The diversity of genetics has produced a wide variety of coats and colors. They remained wild until their recent loss of habitat. Those at Riverton Run were amazed at the horses and knew they were special, though no extra title has been tacked on, save the ranch name and their breed. Because of their and their ancestors long time spent in mountains, they have incredibly strong hindquarters. A RR Mustang with small hindquarters is regarded as deformed. They are agile horses with better stamina than speed and very sharp minds.


○ RR Mustangs come in all coat colors, though Bays and Buckskins are most common.
○ They stand between 15 and 17 Hands. There are some exceptions to this, of course, but this is the average.
○ Mustangs breed throughout their whole lives, but will not inbreed, even in captivity.
○ Chimerics are rare, but they do exist.
