A strange looking bean sits abandoned in a golden bowl, surrounded by other beans of various colors and sizes.
Tempted by curiosity you pick one up that caught your eye and examine it.
This is no ordinary bean you think, rolling it in your palm. It's soft - fluffy? - and warm to the touch. Just as you're about to put it back down a poof of smoke arises from your hand like a small firework. You nearly drop the bean until you hear the sound of chick-like peeping.
The bean you had once been holding was now three time's it's original size and... Living.
It was alive, and looking at you with the same curiosity you had to it once before.
Are you it's new master? Yes. Will it protect you with it's life? Till it's last breath.
Will it learn love you? In time, it will.
Help it through challenges and you may just gain something amazing!
Starting off
Q. How do I get my own Bean Bird?
A. Simple! A contest will be held under a Bean Bird's picture with the criteria on how to win it, and your answer will be judged by The Mages(AKA staff member[s]) who oversee the Bean Bird species.
Q. How many Bean Birds can I own?
A. You may own one flock currently, which consists of 7 Birds.
Q. What's with those stats?
A. Those stats (health, Mana(magic), stamina, & strength) tell you how well your Bean Bird is suited for a challenge which is provided monthly by The Mages(staff). If they're not, that's okay! There's a place called The Field where Bean Birds can acquire little bits of experience points a day.
Q. What happens when I win a challenge?
A. You get to level up your Bean Bird! Depending on the challenge you can chose one or more traits you'd like to increase, or you may just be provided with loot, which you can use to;
1. add extra items to your BB.
2. add line edits
3. remove undesirable traits
and so much more! With each challenge completed you'll be rewarded with a small trophy.
Q. Do I have to do Challenges with my Bean Bird?
A. Not at all! If you're happy with your Bird as it is, then by all means keep it that way.
Q. How will I know a Challenge is going on?
A. It will be announced at three places; the Fanclub, the Challenge Board, and here as well - so make sure you've marked at least one of those places!
Q. Do I start out with loot?
A. Nope! The only way to get loot is to take on a challenge.

Q. If we enter a challenge but lose, can we try again the same day?
A. Yes! However, that all depends on how much stamina your Bean has for the day. Each challenge attempt takes up 10 stamina and it will only reset it's self at 12pm central standard time to full.
Q. How do my stats effect a Challenge?
A. Some actions during challenges require a certain # of a certain skill and if you're above that level you'll succeed, but if you're bellow it it's a chance on whether or not you'll be successful.
Q. How much stamina does The Field use?
To train at The Field costs 5 stamina for 10 XP. Beans start at 0 out of 50 XP and fill it when they complete challenges or use The Field.
Q. How do I know I've leveled up?
A. You should keep track of it, silly goose!
Q. How will I know how much loot I have?
A. The Banker will have a spreadsheet available with your loot amount and such on it <3
Q. Mate boosted?? What's that?
A. Once your Bean Bird's had a clutch of eggs your Bean Bird will be given + 2 strength and +2 health from being mated. This is a one-time thing, and if mates are separated both Bean Birds lose the Mate Boost.

Q. Do Bean Birds have genders?
Nope! Well, not biologically anyways. Feel free to give them pronouns if you like <3
Q. Can I breed my Bean Bird?
A. Yep! But;
1. Both parents must have participated in at least 1 challenge (doesn't matter if they've won or lost it)
2. Both parents must have been created at least 30 days from when they officially announce their mating.
Q. How many babies can a Bean Bird breeding have?
A. One to five eggs per nest. If in the same nest babies will all have the same pallet colors, but different designs.
It's rare to find them with different colors than their siblings.
Q. Can I gift my Bean Bird?
A. Nope! Bean Birds is already pretty messy to begin with, so the closest you'll get to that is gifting your hatching's to other players or puting them up for adoption.
Can I sell my Bean Bird?
A. Once again, that is a no. Too much trouble to keep an eye on who owns who with all that action going on.
Q. Can we get customs?
A. Eventually! Don't count on it till some events start up though <3
