Inside of the stone is the Ruves Soul, if the gem gets cracked the Ruve will get sick and start to get sicker and sicker until it eventually dies. If the gem gets crushed, shattered or destroyed the Ruves soul will be put to rest as well as the ruve. When this happens the soul will shoot up a beam of light and start to glow and it will shoot up into the sky. The Ruves can also come back with no soul if their destiny isn't completed.
