Arranged Marriages were normal between royal families in the past, but they didn't normally continue in this century. Although these two powerful royal families have decided to unit there houses by the marriage of their children. The young Prince and Princess didn't know of their fates at the time, and managed to live their lives away from the thought. It wasn't till the Prince became of age to choose who he would marry, was he told about the exchange. Now the fateful day has come, and the two families had sent their children to get ready. The Princess isn't happy though, she didn't want to marry the prince and has come to feel hatred towards him. Will her feelings towards him change, or will the fate of these two meet a tragic end?

I have to admit, I didn't like the whole fact that my father had arranged for me to marry a girl I barely knew, but she was absolutely stunning. It would take some getting used to, but my father said it would be expected, now to just make sure I didn't screw it up with her. I ran a hand through my hair, before taking her hand and kissing it softly, "My darling Clarissa, is there something you would like to do today?" I said, starting my question of sophisticatedly but ending it with a boyish grin.

The whole thing was a mess. I knew I was to be married, but I still couldn't get over the fact that I had no say in it. ✗ I shrugged my shoulders, my eyes glinting with mischief and excitement, I wasn't too sure about the idea but suggesting it was worth a shot. My green eyes met her blue eyes and I sent her a cheeky grin, it was a warm summery afternoon, and so I hoped she approved of my idea. "Well darling, why don't we go to the beach? Have a picnic, go swimming, take a walk and just get to know each other..." The scenario sounded perfect, after all I knew she wasn't as happy as I was about the whole arranged marriage idea, and this way we got to know each other better as well as got to spend some time at the beach.

✗ I met her gaze for about a minute before she turned away, a soft sigh escaped my lips, although I couldn't help but smile as she agreed to going to the beach. I didn't miss her last comment though, and I frowned slightly, "Darling Clarissa, you wound me..." I said sadly, placing a hand over my heart and looking at the ground for a few seconds feigning hurt before I lifted my gaze. "Don't worry my dear, I won't try anything... I wouldn't do anything that made you uncomfortable." I said sincerely, biting my lip before running a hand through my hair, letting both fall to my sides before I slipped them into the pocket of my jeans. I looked up at her and smiled softly, I held a hand out for her to take, "May I have the pleasure of escorting you to your room my queen." I said with a cheeky grin and a childish bow, I had known she wouldn't have wanted to share a room with me right away, as most married couples would have. I wanted to make her as comfortable as I could, after all, she was my wife and it was my goal to make sure she was content.

✗ As she placed her hand in mine I couldn't help but smile, ‘It`s progress...’ I thought to myself, leading her towards her bedroom, which was just down the hall from mine. She had just about the biggest room in the castle, the only bedroom bigger was mine which eventually I hoped to share with the girl I walked beside, but until she was comfortable then she would have her room and I would have mine. I stopped at her door, before turning to her once again, “I'll meet you here before we leave my dear.” I said with a small smile, tilting my head slightly in a discreet motion, before taking my leave and walking to my bedroom. Pushing open the door and looking back towards where I had left the darling girl, before slipping inside the room and heading over towards my closet. Grabbing the clothes I would need, and petting the head of my dog Trigger before stepping into the attached bathroom and getting changed into my swim trunks.
