The verse is the opening theme of Skyrim. I think it's called Dragonborn. But when you're on the menu and the epic music is playing, that's the verse.

Ah, I was just wondering because I've never seen those lyrics before. The actual song is written in Dovahzul, but it does kinda sound like that. The actual lyrics are


Dovahkiin, Dovahkiin, naal ok zin los vahriin,
Wah dein vokul mahfaeraak ahst vaal!
Ahrk fin norok paal graan fod nust hon zindro zaan,
Dovahkiin, fah hin kogaan mu draal!

Which translates to something like this:


Dragonborn, Dragonborn, by his honor is sworn,
To keep evil forever at bay!
And the fiercest foes route when they hear triumph's shout!
Dragonborn, for your blessing we pray!

Ah, well I've heard that there's both a Dovahzul and English opening. The English opening has the lyrics I listed. (I think.)

Hm, I'll have to look that up. Never heard of it. (I think I saw a video that listed the dovahzul lyrics, translated lyrics, and 'what I thought it said', the later being similar to yours, I think. ^^)
