Sometimes I feel I've got to
Run away I've got to
Get away
From the pain that you drive into the heart of me
The love we share
Seems to go nowhere
And I've lost my light
For I toss and turn I can't sleep at night
Once I ran to you (I ran)
Now I'll run from you
This tainted love you've given
I give you all a boy could give you
Take my tears and that's not nearly all
Oh tainted love
Tainted love
Now I know I've got to
Run away I've got to
Get away
You don't really want it any more from me
To make things right
You need someone to hold you tight
And you'll think love is to pray
But I'm sorry I don't pray that way
Once I ran to you (I ran)
Now I'll run from you
This tainted love you've given
I give you all a boy could give you
Take my tears and that's not nearly all
Oh tainted love
Tainted love
Don't touch me please
I cannot stand the way you tease
I love you though you hurt me so
Now I'm going to pack my things and go
Tainted love, tainted love
Tainted love, tainted love
Touch me baby, tainted love
Touch me baby, tainted love
Tainted love
Tainted love
Tainted love
Name:
Gatsby (M; Dark Tabby) and Venus (F; White tabby point)
History:
Gatsby has little to no memory of life before he was 2 months old. He only really remembers waking up alone one
day with the slight sense that something was missing. Living in the suburbs of a small town near a swampy forest,
He made his life fairly decent by taking the life of a rogue and avoiding the clan cats altogether after hearing terrible
stories of ferocious cats with strange beliefs and systems. But something was very very wrong with Gatsby, and weather
or not he knew this from the start was simple unknowable. He was the last kitten born to a very aging queen who had
been outcasted from the clans after she began to speak of an alliance with something that would be come to known as the
Dark Forest. She not only accepted them but channeled energy through them in a way that seemed impossible, dark and
very wrong. Perhaps it was his mother or fate, but Gatsby would pay the price for his life. When he was a little over a year old,
He met a mysterious she-cat while he was hunting. She called herself Venus, and everything about her seemed to be perfect.
Venus was voluptulous feline; using her charm and looks to weasle her way into Gatsby's heart. But something about her
made Gatsby remain fearful of her Her eyes, blue in daylight, would turn pitch black at night with only two glowing purple
orbs of fire to distinguish her pupils. Her voice was seductive and sweet, like that of a siren. Gatsby tried to leave the area to
escape her, but it seemed that she simply reappeared at night, curling around him, her voice pleading him to protect her.
Her voice always seemed to hold a mocking tone when she talked to him.
In reality, Venus is not real. She is an incarnation of Gatsby's mind and the keeper of his heart. She holds the power
that allow's him to feel love and fall in love, but being the vicious jealous creature she is, will not allow him to have
that. She enjoys driving him mad, and is a raging psyopath herself. Gatsby is the cat equivilant of a schizophrenic. He
is unable to tell is Venus us truly real, but parts of her sometime seem to blend into the air, and her strange eyes lead
him to believe that she is a not what she seems.
