- papa-sonhos

yeah. so I came up with these. they are dream-eaters.
their size ranges from a hamster to a cat.
they are always genderless and nocturnal.
they can feel auras and that's how they see the world, because they see horribly.
they might or not be fluffy, but their skin and fur are very soft and smooth.
their paws are mutated hooves, with four fingers/toes each (see the drawing, it'll make sense)
on their paws and tails they have a kind of pads (of any shape, in groups of three) they use to absorb dreams. they can also share dreams via them (through direct contact) and this is how they breed.
any ear and horn types can exist.
they are peaceful and do not kill nor anything of that sort.
depending on their diet (dreams or nightmares) they'll develop a different aura.
they tend to live with those of same aura and mate with the opposite aura.
mating and dating have no relation. so they are most often bigamous, and barely ever mate for life.
the parents stay together until their kid(s) mature, which usually takes one to one and a half month.
babies: one or both of the parents get pregnant, and the baby develops on the tail, making it blobby for one month.
family life: the parents alternate nights, so one night one feeds the baby, and the other hunts, and the next night they swap roles.
upon reaching maturity (growth of horns) they leave their families.
aura related: -offspring of couples of same aura are very likely to be "early birds", developing their horns too soon and becoming very small adults
-very rarely they won't have an aura; these are the neutrals
edit- here, a teenager for you to see them in colors. I'm also looking for name suggestions for it.
edit 2 (please read)- Vintage. has pmed me; their species concept is very similar to this (to clarify: I did not know about it), and they had it up first. we worked it out through pm, and I'll have a few things changed about the species. wait for them. I hope you comprehend, and if you don't, there's nothing I can do p:
edit 3- this info, but more organised: here
