About
Lantern Gliders are nocturnal, carnivorous creatures that live in forest habitats. They can use the skin connected from their arms to their legs to glide for a short period of time, and are about the size of a large dog. There is almost no fur on their bodies, except for on their neck, head and sometimes at the end of their tails. They're very social and curious.
They can hide up in trees and hang upside down from branches, similar to a bat. Despite the fact they're usually wild, they can be domesticated, granted that they have a good home with plenty of trees nearby and can get outside often. They don't like being stuck in small closed off areas.
Once they have an owner they'll never leave their side.
They're given the name Lantern Gliders for the most interesting trait about them, the lanterns hanging from a string or ribbon wrapped around their tails. These lanterns can look like any kind of lantern, and inside of those lanterns is an object or shape that floats and glows a bright light. They live off of the light of their lantern. If the lantern is cracked too much, they will become weak. No lantern is too similar to one of another Glider.
