Just then he noticed a pink butterfly flutter past. "Where are you going?" he called after it. The butterfly turned, flapped in mid-air for a moment, then continued, with a shout of 'follow me!'
. . . after a long walk through the woods, the butterfly finally came to a halt on a bush of flowers. Was this what the butterfly had wanted to show him? It was certainly nice. Starlight peered closer . . .
And gasped as he realized - there were at least a dozen eggs inside the bush! "Thank you!" he grinned at the butterfly, which flapped a lazy 'you're welcome' back.
Starlight had some new eggs, and he had a new friend. It was a perfect day.
