as for the pencil effect, i just play around with the scatter and spacing! i think for this one my scatter was at 200 something, and my spacing was at 10 or so, but i'd recommend trying out a bunch of different numbers to see what works best for you!

I'm a huge fan of those crayon looking lines, and that shading is amazing! This style really stands out to me. I really like gross stuff and you did a good job making him look really gross. It's a compliment trust me.
