OLD CROW RANCH MULES
Old Crow Ranch is found in the backwoods of North Carolina. The Ranch is the home to all sorts of horses that were adopted by the ranch owner Rebecca Myers (my persona). Just recently Rebecca got into the business of mules. Now Old Crow Ranch is focused on learning and helping teach others about these beautiful hybrids called mules.
Species information:
A mule is a hybrid that comes from breeding a male donkey and a female horse.
A hinny is a hybrid that comes from breeding a female donkey and a male horse.
A male mule is called a john mule and a female mule is called a molly mule.
John Mules are sterile which means they can not breed.
Mules can come in all sorts of different heights depending on the dam and sire's breed
Mules come in pinto like patterns but are not considered true paints
Mules can be any natural color of a donkey or horse
Breeding:
John Mules can not breed. But Molly Mares may be bred. Old Crow Ranch has a few stallions that they have for this specific reason. Right now owners can choose to breed their molly mare with one of the following stallions:
Breeding is closed
Rules:
John Mules can NOT be bred
Molly Mules must be bred here only
There is no limit on how many mules you own
Do not sell/readopt a Mule with out getting permission form Rocky. first
