What are Belldandy's?
Belldandys, also known as Belldees for short, are a fluffy little pixie horse the size of a small rodent. They share the genus name "Equixeus". The Belldee will fly from house to house, normally through a window, visiting little children and infants before they fall asleep. Their bells hold a certain pixie dust that brings the little ones good fortune and sweet dreams. Belldees can not open their eyes, yet somehow they can mysteriously "see" the world around them. They can come in an assortment of colors, any colors you could possibly imagine. Though Belldee's can fly, it is less common for them to have wings; their magical aura is what helps most to fly. Belldandys eat flower petals and leaves for the most part, anything else they eat would consist of an assortment of berries or grasses. One thing they love especially, but is so rare for them to come across is tea. They are obsessed with it and will stop dead in their tracks if they see a cup of it sitting on a table or stand. Lots of people leave tea out at night to try and spot the fluffy pixies.

What dream sparked this Belldee into being:
Such a dream will be difficult for even the most avid story tellers, yet I must try and explain what brought this beautiful Belldee into existence.

A dark leering figure stood in the corner of the room, the figure was neither lean for large, for it's shape changed more and more often. Sometimes it was a dark, angry grizzly bear, or a large wolf. It could manifest into any fear a child had, in one case, a giant rubber duck.

No child could help but quiver in fear at the thought of it, the horrible thing that plagued their nightmares. Some children were more afraid than others, not surprising, as some children forced themselves to face their fear. But those who were truly afraid, the creature was more terrifying than a large vicious dog coming after you in the dead of night.

This monster roamed for centuries, ruining good dreams, and striking fear into the hearts of even the most resilient children. The name of this Belldee is Ari, the god of war.

Ari waged war on the nightmares that the thing sent to children, replacing them with dreams of sweets and love. This angered the monster, and he tried to turn the dreams back into nightmares, but to no avail.

Ari still fighting the monster to this day, so if you ever have a nightmare, expect to see and armor clad Belldee to attack it.
