To start off on the brand spankin' new Cottonwood thread I am posting my first open event since Halloween! Now I'm not good at writing touchy feely things so I'm just going to get straight to the reason you clicked on this thread.


This event will consist of three parts: (Parts will be explained in the next post)

1. The "normal" adopts.

2. A special custom contest.

3. One (possibly more if the other artists want to join in) breeding contest.


Now there are a few things you should know about this event... Every horse that comes out of this event will have a special brand specific to this event. The brand will only be on horses from this events three parts.

The second thing you should know is that every male horse from this event will be a gelding. Each gelding will have two breedings.

Event Part One!

This is like your normal adopts. There may be some themed adopts posted. You are only allowed to win TWO of these horses.

Event Part Two!

For this part of the event you will all get a chance to win a special custom. This means you could order a chimera, brindle, ect! (Note: Chemera's may be more of a semi custom, and you can not order exotics like Zebras or Donkeys.) The custom would come with edits and tack of your choosing.

Event Part Three!

The number of horses for this event depends on the number of artists wanting to participaite. Basically what will happen is the artists will make a personal custom, and them "adopt out" breedings. The artist will get to choose how they go about doing this, and can use a varity of methods. They may make the foal and adopt it out, or they may hold a compition for receiving a breeding with the stallion or mare of the winners choice, or perhaps the winners will receive a foal from a randomly chosen pairing.

(Note: If the custom is a stallion the artist may choose how many foals to adopt out, but will still have two breedings to use later on)
