so anyways these guys are around a foot tall. there is only one per person because they are bonded to their person they guard. they have a special bond that cannot be broken.

The species is called apsuaga, apsuagas plural.
they are formed when a human (usually child,) is in need of protection. the only thing that can kill them is if their human dies, or kills them. they guard from monsters that wish to do their human harm. monsers include but are not limited to; ghosts, demons, shapesifters, vampires, werewolves, gouhls, and undead of all sorts, depression, anxiety, eating disorders, and other various mental disorders.

the name of their human is etched into their jaw upon birth.

whilest their visible size is around 12 inches in height, they grow to over 7 feet in height when their human is threatened.
