What is an Albino Water Newt?
An Albino Water Newt or AWN, is a desert dwelling freshwater critter. They live in small puddles during wet seasons, and store water and live on land during dry seasons. They are about the size of a half-dollar, not including their large tail. Every AWN has at least 2 water sacs on their body that are see though. Though, they normally have 2-5 that are not see through, which are located in their tails. On rare occasions you will be able to see all of their water sacs. The four almost feather like feelers located on the sides of their heads are used to help them get around, due to them having poor eyesight. Their claws are used to help dig under rocks and catch small insects. It is rare to find AWNs outside of the desert, despite the fact that they need water, they seem to thrive in high heat environments.
Facts
Coloration -- Mostly browns and white/grays. Other coloration's are not uncommon though.
Hair -- May develop small tuffs on legs, tail, and neck to keep warm at night
size -- On average a half dollar
Diet -- Only Insects, small cat treats if humans feed them.
Life-span -- 20-30 years
Behavior -- Playful and always gnawing on things
Mates -- Mate for life

Note
This species is currently only available for Rainbow Paint Wolf members to make their own. This just means that those that are fairly active in the community get to make themselves customs. However, anyone may adopt those that I make! Depending on how much attention these get, I may hire staff to help out making adopts.
