alegra is a simple, quiet young girl
with an aversion to loud noises and
spicy foods. she usually prefers to
keep to herself, but that's not to say
she doesn't like social interaction. she
gets along perfectly fine with other
people, however she has trouble
understanding sarcasm, taking hints,
and reading body language, and so
it can make for some awkwardness
on occasion.

alegra has never had much luck with boys. her parents homeschooled her when they found her on the floor of her room, at two years old, with flowers growing out of the carpet she was sitting on, and so alegra never got much interaction with the outside world. her parents were devout churchgoers, though, and so the only time she got to socialize was when she was at church. because of this, she ended up with a very warped sense of the world; she only knew what her parents told her and what she heard at church. due to this, she took to the internet and tried to reach out to others through it. alegra grew to spend most of her time on it, which angered her parents, so eventually they cut off her access to it permanently. when the family left for the trip to new york city, they had been fighting about this for weeks. alegra had always had a shaky relationship with her parents, but that set it over the edge. she can be very tempermental, and they certainly brought out that side in her. alegra will not pick fights, but she will most certainly finish them. regarding fights, she prefers to use her powers simply to make things pretty. very rarely does she call up storms, unless there has been a drought and her flowers need the rain. she never uses her powers maliciously, and usually only uses them to grow flowers of all types.
