General
This species is closest related to Ferrets, sporting chinchilla-soft fur and long tails fluffy tails. Their furs are brightly colored and have a variety of patterns. In uncommon cases Ohrylx's can be found with a pelt almost two thirds darker than most Ohrylx's.
Ohrylx's live in large groups of both relatives and strangers. They form close communal bonds with one another and rarely fight.
Now a days people have taken to keeping them as pets, while others enjoy watching the mischievous creatures from afar.
Reproduction
As a child, Ohrylx's are born with two small, identical feathers which poke out from the base of their ears as they grow. These feathers seem to have no real use aside when it comes to an Ohrylx's mating rituals.
When they choose their partner, each Ohrylx pulls a feather from their ear and places it where their mate's feather has been removed, trading feathers like rings. Their new feather will set into the base of their ear, attaching its self with an adhesive triggered when the feather was removed. Once set, there's no possibility of removing the feather without harming the individual. If an Ohrylx is born without their two mating feathers, they will not be able to choose a mate.
Ohrylx's typically have between two to four kits per litter, and can have a litter every two months. Once a baby Ohrylx is born it take a month(30 days)for it to mature. In their baby stage they measure no more than an index finger, and by the time they're adults they've grown to about the size of a domestic house cat.
