So, What are Mer-Betta's you ask?
Well, there pretty much what the look like, a merman betta fish. These guys are the same size as their 100% fish counter parts, and generally act in the same way, preferring to be solitary and being very territorial. They come in 4 basic fin types, Halfmoon, Crowntail,Veiltail and Plakat but rarer tails types will pop up from time to time. There skin tends to be a little tinted on there sides, shoulders, and cheeks, but not always. They have three gill on each side of their body and don't like to have them touched or covered by anything, even if they can breath through their mouths. They come in a wide variety of colors, spanning the whole prism, but never neon or exuberantly bright, on natural betta colors.
Where do they live?
There usually kept like normal betta's (not a tiny bowl, ew poor things) in a minimum of 2 gallons, and 5 for them to be really happy, they live well with snails, dwarf frogs, and neon tetras as well.
