Intro
"Oh, dang," you say, depressed, as there is a flash of lightning and the boom of thunder. You shout in frustration and dash from the empty streets of your run-down town to the nearest shelter, which is a purple striped awning hanging under a large colorful sign that reads "Forever Young Adoption Center- where kittens stay kittens!" Although you had reached the store overhang quickly enough, you are still drenched from head to toe. Looking around at the rain, you think that maybe it's best to explore while the storm clears up. Unfortunately, the awning shelters the front door of the adoption center, only. With no other choice, you grab the handle of the door and step inside.
It is very warm in the building. You can see that there aren't really any windows except for the one right next to the front door. You hear many animal-like sounds coming in the direction of a doorway leading to another room. Above its door frame you make out the words "Adoptions" painted on a gray wooden plank. You glance around once more.
At a counter in the middle of the small room sits a studious looking teenager with spiky black hair and a blue sweater. He looks up at you with his dark brown eyes, and smiles thoughtfully, at the same time ruffling his hair a bit. The fifteen-year old opens his mouth to speak.
"Hello. Welcome to the Forever Young Adoption Center," he greets and without your initiation, continues. "Here, we have safely bred certain breeds of foxes, cats, dogs, and wolves to make the offspring stay cute and cuddly forever." He pauses, waiting for any change in your facial expression. After a few seconds, the boy stands up and beckons you to the door that reads "Adoptions". You reluctantly move towards the doorway and the second you get to it a younger girl ,with black shoulder-length hair and brown eyes like the boy and around thirteen pops out from behind the doorway. You literally jump in shock as she proceeds to talk quite fast.
"Hi! My brother is only there to greet you, but his names Mack. I'm Marina. You must be..." she trails off, raising her dark eyebrows. You speak your name hesitantly and she practically yells "Great! Let's get started!" Marina grabs your wrist and pulls you forward. You look back at Mack, who shrugs to say "She does this all the time".
You are taken into a dark room, and Marina switches on the lights. Even with the faintly yellow bulbs scattered around the ceiling of the room lighting the way, you can still see dimly. However, as you stop to observe the room, you can see it is very large, and you wonder how the building looked so small outside. Maybe you weren't really paying attention before? Anyway, you turn your gaze to the floor and realize there are many kennels with whining and mewing sounds emitting from them. Marina nods at you eagerly as you look at her for permission, and you move towards the nearest cage. Inside it is small litter of kittens, mewling happily with their bellies full and their eyes closed. As you proceed to look within other cages, you see there are three other species of babies in the cages: dogs, wolves, and foxes.
Looking back, you see that Marina is now petting a large dusty brown puppy. "Nice Sooty!" she purrs. Marina looks up, seeming to remember you, and says, "Oh! If you want, you can adopt one. I'll just lay down a few things."
For those of you who are too lazy to read this large intro (and I don't blame you), it just tells you that we make animals that never truly grow up, and keep their cute cuddly youngling looks. Don't worry, the full-grown ones can still produce young. Sooty is our mascot, who is the little puppy in the display picture above. If you've read to this point, remember to state your favorite food in your forms.

~Normal adoptables grow in about three days, customs and popular adoptables—eg. a pet that has a lot of likes—frow in about five. We like to keep the suspense up!
Adoptions
"We have ready-bred puppies, kittens, fox kits, and wolf pups for you!" Marina continues. "Just remember that it takes time to breed them, so be patient for the adoptables. Plus, they are free! Yippee! I have a form for you to bring around to look for any pets you want." She hastily pulls a crumpled paper out of her pocket, mumbling something about getting more, and hands it to you. "Remember that green dots=up for adoption, red dots=taken, and blue dots=custom! I'll show you the color key later." You read the form over:
"Just fill it out at the animal's picture! It's easy as that!" Marina says.
Customs
"If you want, we take special care into breeding our Forever Youths into one with markings and accessories of your choice. It's a rather short process, though. You won't have to wait a month for it! And also, we expect payment for these custom pets. They do wear out our studs and females, if you know what I mean!" Marina explains, smiling faintly when she finishes and you grimace back, thinking of what the mating pairs have to go through. She hands you the form for a custom Forever Youth:

"As I said before, customs are paid for. If you want one, you will have to pay:
~any newborn dog from the current month (I am no longer accepting second gens)
~any newborn other (horses, cats, b-wolves, etc.) from the current month
So basically, you pay a pet to get a pet!" She says, laughing a little at her little joke, though it seems she has said to all of their customers.
Color Code!
"Okay, so finally, I get to tell you the color code for the adoptables! In each picture in the 'VERSIONS OF THIS DRAWING THAT PEOPLE HAVE COMPLETED RECENTLY' section right under the display picture in this thread, you can see a colored dot in the top right hand corner of the picture. These dots are colored to help you figure out its ownership status, like so:
• green dots= This pet is up for adoption go and check it out, and remember to bring your adoption form (see above) with you!
• red dots= This pet has already been adopted by someone, and they are waiting for this newborn to grow!
• blue dots= This pet is a custom ordered by a customer, no touchy touchy!
• orange dots= These pets are unadopted but this also means they are not open to adoption forms yet. Do not post on these or you will DIE.
Okay, so now you know how the dots work!" Marina says. "Go and adopt something, have fun!" You take one last look at her, ans set off to look at the puppies, kittens, foxes, and wolf cubs that will stay forever young for you...
