About the Species: Hootlies are a large bird species about the size of a medium dog. Because of their size and how small their wings are, they can't technically fly. However, when they get excited they tend to flap their wings a lot, causing them to rise a foot or two off the ground. They are also capable of slowly gliding down from high places. Their primary mode of transportation is running around on their legs. Hootlies are very social, not just with other Hootlies but with anything that is nearby, sometimes including reflections of themselves. They are called Hootlies because of the owl like noise that they make. Hootlies eat fruits, nut, berries, and small insects. They are not a very violent creature, but when aggravated they puff themselves up, make long and loud hoots, and wave their antlers around.

Adopt Rules:
1. You may not recreate, draw, or RP with a Hootly unless you have won it.
2. Rudeness or unkind actions are not tolerated.
3. You may own up to five Hootlies.
4. Customs are reserved for staff only until further notice.
5. You may not sell your Hootly. If you no longer want your Hootly PM the artist who created it.
