What is a Carnis?
A Carnis is a decedent of Eastern Dragons, classified under mammals for their warm blooded affiliation. Despite their relation to dragons, they are closer related to equines and canines. Some are able to fly with the aid of wings, though this is more of a mutation than an attribute of the species. Almost every Carnis is able to use magic with the help of a small sphere they regurgitate when they're adolescents. Some common magic spheres possess is elemental magic, mainly the elements Earth, Fire, Air and Water. Some Carnis are unlucky and regurgitate spheres without any magical power - despite having magical wielding parents. This species tends to live in flocks made mostly of family.
Carnis possess fur dense like chinchilla fur, and feathers atop their heads and at the tips of their tails. Their cheeks, legs, and sometimes shoulders have scales and less fur grows in these places. Their eyes are usually the same color as their orb, ranging from natural colors to unnatural colors. The same goes for their fur, which can be anything from brown and white to light blue and green. They are also a peaceful species and are no larger than a white tailed deer.

Rules
General Public
- You are allowed to own six Carnis, nursery or otherwise.
- They may be gifted if given permission by staff member
though it MUST be documented and cleared first before
gifting.
- Any changes to a Carnis's lineart should be checked over with me.
- Illegal Carnis will be confiscated and you will be banned from
owning another Carnis. Any already owned Carnis will be taken
away automatically.
- >> Illegal Carnis = A Carnis made by someone who is not
an artist for the species or who is not given permission to make
a custom/Carnis.

- Names, personalities, images or ideas CAN NOT
BE RESERVED. I've seen way too many contests where people
believe that they can "copy right" (so to speak) an idea or
name/personality/story for their character, and that's just
not the case! It's not as uncommon as it seems for someone to have
the same idea as you for something, and if you do not already
own the adoptable then you have no right to limit the other user.
Don't be a jerk. Jerks don't get good things.
You will be sent a warning message if you are found guilty
of this sort of thing, so please be careful! Warnings disappear
after three months and will not be held against you - everyone
makes mistakes.
- -- NOTE: Reserving a place on a thread is a different matter
and is encouraged.
Just don't exclusively "clam" a name for yourself. That's just unfair.
- Revamps will only be done by me or staff members if we believe
the design you own needs a revamp.
Staff Members
- General staff may have four customs.
- Every staff member (aside GA) is allowed to own ten Carnis.
- Guest Artists are allowed only one custom.
- Any type of edit is fine for customs as long as
they are not missing a limb or have horns (unless male)
- No more than five runners up for contests.
- All staff should be mature and agreeable at all times.
- Staff (aside GA) may make a custom for their friends, though
only one per user. Those who are not staff are only allowed
one custom Carnis, so make it count! Customs count towards
Carnis limits.
- If you have any questions on your limitations/what you can't
do PLEASE don't hesitate to ask.
